Do we have to make our book right away?
Make your book whenever you are ready. You do need to prepay now so the school will get matching funding. We will send you a gift certificate, so you can make your book whenever is convenient for you.
Is there a limit to the size of the artwork?
That's the great thing about putting artwork in a book. If the artwork is huge, a picture of the artwork takes up far less space. So even a picture of the capital building will fit in the book.
Does it have to be artwork?
We encourge parents to put whatever they like in the book. Pictures of friends and teachers are wonderful. Pictures working on projects are great (thank goodness that mess was cleaned up before Grandma visited).
Add a great report card, postive teacher comment, cute letter from a BBF, doodles from a workbook, or whatever you'd like.
Does it have to be artwork from a single year?
You can include whatever you'd like. For example, you could make a book of writing examples from the early crayon years to this year's word processing masterpiece.
Or cover the cub scout years. Or make a book filled with last February's valentines. Or publish her Breyer horse collection (put it on the shelf next to her Barbie & Ken book). Every child has their own passion that deserves to be celebrated.
How many pages are there?
The artbooks come standard with 12 pages. The first page is a cover page with one photo and the last page is for notes.
You can add more pages if you like for 99ยข per page.
How many items can you put on a page?
You can place as many as 8 images on a page. Of course, the more items you add, the smaller they have to be to fit on the page.
Can I put just one item on a page?
Yes you can. We will make that one item as big as possible on the page.
Can I make my favorite item larger?
We call that the hero image. When creating a page, just select your favorite item and click the "hero" button. It will appear larger in the layout.
